PDW Prignitzer Düngemittelwerk GmbH

PDW Prignitzer Duengemittelwerk GmbH processes slime substances from the milling of oilseeds and converts them into the report-listed products liquid fertilizer, fatty acids and biomass concentrate. The company positions itself as a full-service provider and offers its own just-in-time collection with an in-house fleet, processing at the Perleberg plant and delivery to buyers such as the fuel industry and farmers. In the reporting year a yearly contract with ADM in Hamburg secured a stable base load, the role of main buyers for the fatty acids (e.g. VERBIO AG) was discussed and additional regional partners for liquid fertilizer were obtained. To support operations the company expanded logistics capacity and storage areas, installed a tank-washing facility and a diesel station, and prepared the prerequisites for a capacity expansion approval under the Federal Immission Control Act.
