Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Europe GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Inc., Tokyo and acted at the balance sheet date as a distribution company for chemical products. According to the management report, the product program comprises high‑performance products (e.g. MXDA, MX‑Nylon, aromatic aldehydes), natural gas‑based chemicals (e.g. methanol, NPG), oxygen absorbers and REACH services. The company sources most products from the parent’s production sites in Japan and primarily serves customers in Europe; end customers outside the EU are in some cases served via external dealers. In the 2024 financial year MGC‑E reported revenues of €49.542 million, employed on average ten staff and provides registration and consultancy services under REACH in addition to distribution.
