The Wellpappenfabrik GmbH develops, manufactures and sells corrugated board packaging; the company produces printed and unprinted shipping and retail packaging for well-known brands, distributed mostly regionally and partly supraregionally. The company has been a grandchild subsidiary of Stora Enso Oyj since January 2023 and is organizationally assigned as a subsidiary of the Dutch De Jong Packaging Group within the Packaging Solutions / Business Unit Western Europe division. In 2024 the company made significant investments (total investments approx. 5,868 T€), increasing fixed assets to 15,579 T€ and technically modernizing the main corrugated board plant. As of 31.12.2024, 186 employees were employed; the company emphasizes flexibility, quality management and expansion of service offerings to support strategic customer retention.
