Hill‑Rom GmbH, based in Essen, is a sales subsidiary of the Baxter group responsible for marketing, sales and maintenance of medical‑technical devices, in particular therapeutic positioning systems and beds for hospitals and care facilities. The product range includes hospital and care beds, hospital furniture, patient transport systems, patient lifting solutions as well as bed and mattress systems for soft‑ and alternating‑pressure therapy and decubitus management. The business is split into sales ("Capital"), rental ("Rental") and installation/maintenance/repair ("Service"); the Capital segment serves hospitals, nursing homes, medical supply stores, facilities for the physically disabled and private customers. Hill‑Rom GmbH operates service centers across Germany, employed on average 123 staff in fiscal 2024 and does not incur its own research and development expenses at the sales‑office level.
