AXA Entwicklungs- und Maschinenbau GmbH develops and builds production-technical plants and chip-removing CNC machining centers and relies on about sixty years of experience in special machine construction and production engineering. Its service offering includes consulting, design and engineering, construction, commissioning as well as repair and maintenance of customer-specific manufacturing solutions. The customer focus is on Germany, nearby European countries and occasionally worldwide; the company holds a majority (57%) stake in the Czech subsidiary AXA CNC stroje s.r.o., which handles sales, service and production for the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. The company operates three German sites (headquarters in Schoeppingen with development, large production and management; a South branch in Leipheim whose functions are to be integrated into the headquarters in autumn 2025; an East branch in Lichtenau producing indexable holders) and maintains an apprenticeship quota of about 10% of the workforce.
