Invitas-Lebenshilfewerk gemeinnuetzige GmbH, based in Schneeberg, reports operating a workshop for people with disabilities (WfbM) including all operational sites as well as a residential facility and special housing forms under the Federal Participation Act. It is a member of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband and provides outpatient care via its wholly owned subsidiary Invitas - Ambulant gGmbH. As of 31.12.2023 the company reported 264 places in the work area, 17 places in the vocational training area and 281 places in total; the residential facility had 41 places and the external residential groups 19 places occupied. According to the report the organisation focuses on expanding external workplaces, transition management and vocational training to integrate people with disabilities into the general labour market.
