SSH Suedwestdeutsche Stahl Handelsgesellschaft mbH cuts, bends and trades steel, primarily reinforcing steel (Betonstahl), structural steel (Baustahl) and reinforcing mesh; deliveries are also made to neighboring foreign countries. The service offering includes, besides delivery, cutting and bending on customer order, occasionally also the laying of steel under works contracts. Steel procurement is carried out mainly through a principal domestic supplier, supplemented to a lesser extent by purchases from foreign steel mills. In 2023 the company employed 60 staff, operates mainly in a two-shift system and materially improved technical equipment through investments in the machinery park, which led to a reduction in personnel.
