The AAM group focuses on manufacturing components for thermal waste treatment, plant construction with technological steel structures, and machine and special machine engineering, positioning itself as a supplier of heavy welded constructions for plant manufacturers. The group comprises AAM Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (parent), AAM Auftragsabwicklung, Anlagenbau, Maschinenbau GmbH (based in Fuchsmuehl), the 100% subsidiary Svitstroj a.s. (Svit/Slovakia) and Svitstroj Lutsk GmbH (95%, Lutsk/Ukraine), with Svitstroj Lutsk currently economically inactive. AAM GmbH handles sales, commercial order processing and administration at Fuchsmuehl and employs six staff there; production is mainly carried out by Svitstroj a.s., which including temporary workers and single-person companies has about 190 employees and generates annual revenue of approx. EUR 9 million, of which 80% are intercompany sales with AAM GmbH. In fiscal year 2013 AAM GmbH's revenue fell from EUR 12.93 million to EUR 9.67 million (-25.2%); operating result was -592.2 TEUR and the net loss -491.9 TEUR.
