Franz Lohr GmbH is headquartered in Ravensburg and operates mainly in southwestern Germany across the business areas pipeline construction, plant engineering and building services. In pipeline construction the company performs buried pipeline works including civil engineering for gas, water, broadband and district heating lines; it is a system partner for regional and supraregional energy and water suppliers and has integrated hydrogen infrastructure into its services, having already won a significant large contract. Plant engineering plans, supplies and installs pump stations, reservoirs, sewage plants and pressure‑boosting and filtration systems including electrical, measurement and control technology, and provides scheduled maintenance and remote diagnostics. Building services covers planning, supply and installation of heating, climate, sanitary, solar, ventilation and swimming‑pool systems for municipal, commercial, private and industrial customers; after integrating a new Schussenried site the company expanded electrical installation and photovoltaic offerings and significantly increased prefabrication in Plant 2.
