CuxPort GmbH provides seaport services at the Cuxhaven location for customers from industry, trade and transport and has share capital of EUR 3,070 thousand. Shareholders are Rhenus SE & Co. KG with 74.9% and Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) with 25.1%. The core business comprises maritime and landside cargo handling, interim storage and complementary services such as the organisation of transports, customs and technical services including specialised washing services and service orders. At the site CuxPort is the sole port operator for roll-on/roll-off and container handling; focal areas are short-sea trades (notably the UK), new-vehicle handling, project cargo and activities in the offshore and onshore wind energy sector.
