BFG-Bernburger Freizeit GmbH builds, operates and manages parking garages, an underground car park and numerous sports, leisure and cultural facilities in Bernburg such as a zoo, passenger ship, ferry, park railway, observation tower, museum, art gallery, indoor and outdoor pools, a bowling and skittle center and sports halls. In fiscal year 2024 the total number of visitors to all facilities amounted to 263,087, an increase of 14,392 over the prior year; the Saaleperle water park alone recorded 16,470 additional bathers. BFG holds 51% of the shares in Stadtwerke Bernburg GmbH, is party to a profit transfer agreement with it and received shareholder contributions of T€ 3,715 to the capital reserve during the reporting year.
