Arbeiten gGmbH of Lebenshilfe Schweinfurt is a 100% subsidiary of the association Lebenshilfe fuer Behinderte e. V. Schweinfurt, founded on 03.08.2022, which began operations on 01.01.2023 and is registered at HRB 8910 with the local court in Schweinfurt. In 2023 the company operated five workshops, affiliated support centres, the RAW Schweinfurt, a day support centre for people with autism and the "Mensch inklusive" initiative, collectively providing over 1,600 people with disabilities with suitable workplaces. Its service offering includes piecework (e.g. assembly, garment finishing), services (gardening, office services, café) as well as own products (wood, metal and textile products) and social-space oriented workplaces. On 01.01.2024 the facilities were reintegrated into the parent association Lebenshilfe fuer Behinderte e. V. Schweinfurt, so the fiscal year 2023 is the company's only operative year.
