TARUK International GmbH is an owner-managed, medium-sized tour operator based in Caputh (Schwielowsee) specializing in high-quality experiential group tours with a maximum of twelve participants; its travel offerings primarily cover destinations in Africa, Asia, Oceania, Latin America and selected regions of Europe. Each itinerary is independently designed by the owner family and the product specialist team, based on intensive destination knowledge, regular inspection trips and long-standing partnerships, and accommodations are mainly in local, owner-managed lodgings. At the balance sheet date TARUK employed over 40 qualified staff (an average of 42.75 employees during the year), including tourism clerks, product managers and booking specialists; the company is a training firm of the IHK Potsdam and holds guarantees from the German Travel Security Fund. The business covers the brokerage and organization of travel worldwide for customers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the creation and sale of travel materials.
