Olenex Edible Oils GmbH, based in Brake, is a production company within the OLENEX group and operates central production sites in Brake and Hamburg. The parent company is Olenex Holdings B.V. in Rotterdam, a joint venture of Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) and Wilmar International Ltd., and the group markets a portfolio of edible oils and fats under the OLENEX brand across Europe. The company acts almost exclusively as a toll processor for its sister company Olenex Sàrl and does not take ownership of input materials, intermediate or finished products. Olenex Edible Oils GmbH is compensated based on the processing services provided, while procurement, trading, sales and marketing are handled at group level.
