Kofferwerk Abwicklungsgesellschaft mbH

TITAN Kofferwerk GmbH operates in the travel luggage sector and handles development, production, import, export and sales of travel luggage; distribution is conducted via an owned TITAN® store in Hamburg, independent sales agents, in-house field staff, distributors and key accounts domestically and internationally. The product range includes travel, business and leisure luggage; by product groups hard-shell and soft luggage each account for about half of sales. At the end of the second half of 2009 production of hard-shell luggage under own responsibility started in Gelting near Geretsried, and a new administrative building in Penzberg was occupied at the end of December 2009. Market position is supported by product innovations and new patents; the Xenon product line received a 1.7 rating from Stiftung Warentest, and cooperations with companies such as Lufthansa and FC Bayern are expected to foster revenue growth.
