Clarins GmbH, Starnberg, is the 100% German distribution subsidiary of the international Clarins group headquartered in Paris and operates primarily as a wholesaler of its own brands in facial and body care as well as make-up. The company runs its own sales outlet ("Skin Spa") in Munich and operates its own online shop. The majority of business is conducted through the specialist retail channel with customers such as Douglas, Sephora, Mueller, regional perfumery chains and department stores. Revenues for 2023 were generated 100% domestically and are reported to be split approximately 88% to skincare and 12% to make-up, with about 90% of sales coming from B2B customers.
