Samtec Europe GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Samtec Inc. (USA) and part of the globally operating Samtec group, which specializes in manufacturing and selling connectors, cable systems and PCB design solutions. From its headquarters in Germering and an office in Schwabach, the company primarily distributes electromechanical and optoelectronic components of the parent company in the German-speaking region. The product portfolio includes high‑speed connectors (e.g. board‑to‑board and edge‑card), coaxial and twinax cables, active optical fiber cables as well as RF and power connectors; since 2019 the company organises its offering into six solution blocks such as High‑Speed Cables and High Frequency - Connectivity. In fiscal 2024 the company employed on average 36 employees (19 internal sales, 16 field sales, 1 quality assurance), reported a net profit of TEUR 1,012 and generated about 22% of revenue abroad while total revenue fell by 15.2% year-on-year.
