Mainzer Erneuerbare Energien GmbH

Mainzer Erneuerbare Energien GmbH plans, constructs, finances and operates wind energy plants and other EEG-eligible installations and operates energy storage including charging infrastructure for e-mobility, and cooperates with municipal partners on energy supply for buildings and low-emission mobility concepts. The company currently operates four wind turbines, 98 photovoltaic plants and twelve hydropower plants. The total installed capacity of the photovoltaic plants amounts to approx. 82.6 MWp, of which the company is entitled to feed-in remunerations for approx. 32.8 MWp. The four wind turbines have an installed capacity of 8 MW and are covered by a manufacturer guarantee of 97% availability under a 15-year contract, which includes maintenance, inspection and repair.
