MAUSER Maschinentechnik GmbH, based in Brühl, manufactures machines and plants for the production of large-volume industrial plastic packaging, in particular drums and cans (20–220 litres) and IBCs with 1,000 and 1,250 litres. The product portfolio includes extrusion blow-moulding machines for plastic hollow bodies, cage-welding machines for IBCs and downstream process automation equipment (e.g. de-flashing devices, post-cooling units, quality inspection centers). The company provides sales, project management, design and development, component procurement, final assembly, commissioning and training as well as services such as spare-parts supply, repair, overhaul, modernization and major refurbishment. Machines are sold worldwide; main customers are MAUSER group companies, joint-venture partners and licensees, and MAUSER Maschinentechnik is consolidated in the Mauser International segment of the Mauser Packaging Solutions group.
