awk AUSSENWERBUNG GmbH is the marketing company of the Freund group and is responsible for marketing and operating domestic advertising media for both the group and cooperation partners. The company's tasks include negotiations with media agencies, rate management, marketing, logistics and quality control. As of 31 Dec 2012 the company reported an advertising inventory of 48,009 media (of which 40,478 are large-format sites) and recorded revenues of EUR 63,878,713 for fiscal year 2012. Operational activities are carried out from the head office in Koblenz, a branch in Mülheim an der Ruhr and supported by five representatives.
