Open Text Document Technologies GmbH, based in Konstanz, develops and operates products and services for intelligent character recognition, document capture and information extraction; in the reporting year it specifically continued development of the Information Extraction Engine (IEE) and new OCR architectures. The company is a 100% subsidiary of Open Text Software GmbH and transferred the intellectual property rights to Open Text Software GmbH by contract on June 30, 2010. In fiscal year 2023/2024 OTDT had an average of 35 employees (33 as of 30 June 2024) and generated revenue of TEUR 11,920, including TEUR 4,858 maintenance, TEUR 1,631 licenses and TEUR 2,318 services. OTDT centrally provides maintenance and implementation services in Germany and partly abroad and markets core components via OEM channels.
