InterContinental Hotel Berlin GmbH, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, has operated the InterContinental Berlin at Budapester Strasse 2 in Berlin since 1 June 2011. The non-classified conference and luxury hotel comprises 558 rooms, two restaurants, a bar, 42 meeting rooms, 29 retail units and a fitness and spa area. The hotel is run under a long-term lease that was extended by 30 years in 2019 and, according to the notes, runs until 2049. The company contributed approximately EUR 14.1 million to a total renovation cost of EUR 61.3 million; the modernization of rooms and public areas was completed at the end of 2024.
