Beteiligungsgesellschaft Kreis Düren mbH (BTG)

The company's purpose is the ownership and management of the Kreis Düren’s participations, especially in public services and local public transport, holding real estate and managing RWE common shares. The company mainly generates revenue from personnel secondment (since 01.04.2017 based on a collective agreement), from rentals and leases of ÖSPV/SPNV infrastructure and vehicles, and from business administration services in accounting, HR administration and payroll. BTG holds numerous direct participations and prepares a consolidated financial statement; notably it has 100% stakes (e.g. DGA Dürener Gesellschaft für Arbeitsförderung mbH, Gesellschaft für Infrastrukturvermögen Kreis Düren mbH) as well as majority and minority holdings (e.g. Rurtalbus GmbH 49%, RURENERGIE GmbH 59.90% after the increase). For 2024 the company reports revenues of 14,404 T€ but records a net loss of 15,079 T€, largely caused by an impairment of RWE shares of 14.855 T€, reducing equity to 24,801 T€ (equity ratio 13.9%).
