PEWO Energietechnik GmbH is a medium-sized plant manufacturer with core competencies in the storage and transfer of thermal energy for heating and cooling buildings and for domestic hot water preparation. The products manufactured in Saxony are intended for installation in hydraulic networks (district heating, district cooling, local heating networks and building systems) and are primarily sold via an internal and group-used sales network in the domestic market and neighboring European countries to wholesalers and energy suppliers. Services include development, planning, manufacturing, assembly and maintenance of local and district heating compact stations as well as development and manufacturing of process control technology and control cabinets, production of insulation and renovation/new construction of heating, sanitary and air-conditioning systems. The R&D department conducts applied research on 400 sqm and the company spent approximately EUR 1.9 million on R&D in the reporting year.
