cellumation GmbH develops, manufactures, implements and sells automation technology, material flow and robotics systems as well as associated software and hardware and provides related services. The company was founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the Bremen Institute for Production and Logistics (BIBA) at the University of Bremen; the founders are Claudio Uriarte and Dr.-Ing. Hendrik Thamer. Its core product is an intelligent modular conveyor technology based on hexagonal cells that can transport different goods without changeover times; all hardware is produced at the Bremen site. As of the balance sheet date 65 employees worked at the Bremen site and the company holds patent rights and grants licenses as part of its corporate purpose. The company is a small company under § 267 (1) HGB and is therefore not required to publish a profit-and-loss statement.
