Elettronica Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung is a medium-sized subsidiary of the Italian Elettronica S.p.A. based in Meckenheim that manufactures, sells, services, repairs and retrofits electromechanical, radio-electronic and electronic devices, including in the field of underwater electroacoustics. Its value creation is in the development, integration and production of electromechanical systems and components for the German armed forces, authorities and international armed forces; the systems are used for command, reconnaissance, surveillance and sensor validation. Key product areas include radar/EloKa test, training and validation systems, production of electromechanical components (including contributions to Eurofighter and NH90), as well as civilian vehicle integration and military maintenance. In fiscal year 2024 the company employed an average of 103 staff, reported revenue of EUR 23.9m and had an order backlog of approximately EUR 53m at year-end.
