Ambu Innovation GmbH, Augsburg, is a 100% subsidiary of Ambu A/S and its corporate purpose is the conduct of medical-technology developments as well as the manufacturing and distribution of medical-technology products, in particular in the field of endoscopy. In the 2024/25 financial year the company generated revenue of € 8,268,760.05, which derives entirely from services provided to the Danish parent company and is recorded as reimbursement of research and development costs with a cost margin of 4.35%. The company focuses on the development of flexible single-use endoscopes for all relevant clinical applications and thus contributes to Ambu group's innovation leadership in single-use endoscopy. On average 63 employees were employed during the financial year, of which 41 worked exclusively in research and development.
