The Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft zur nachklinischen Versorgung von Hirngeschädigten mbH operates the Nachsorge Zentrum Augsburg and its business purpose is running inpatient, semi-inpatient and outpatient facilities for brain-injured patients as well as residential, employment and care facilities. The Nachsorge Zentrum Augsburg is organized into inpatient post-clinical neurorehabilitation, a neurological outpatient clinic and housing for people with acquired brain injury. In the reporting year there were 30 places for post-clinical neurorehabilitation, 26 long-term residential places and six rented apartments; additionally five people received outpatient care and the neurological outpatient clinic treated on average 126 patients with 572 therapy units per week.
