IPG Industrieplast GmbH, based in Neuendettelsau, is engaged in the manufacture and finishing of plastic products and in taking on industrial representations. In the 2006 financial year the company generated sales revenues of EUR 38,976,859.01. Sales were earned almost exclusively domestically; the management report identifies the automotive supplier industry as an important customer segment. On average 172 persons were employed (29 salaried employees and 143 manual workers) and capacity was reported as fully utilized. Since November 2005 90% of the shares were sold to an investor group, and the annual result is transferred to the majority shareholders under a profit transfer agreement.
