FORUM - PLAST GmbH manufactures a wide range of packaging films from environmentally neutral plastics as well as by-products and packaging-sector products. Customers at home and abroad include companies from almost all industries, in particular chemicals, construction and wood industries, glass manufacturers and the food industry. The company does not maintain its own research and development department but continuously implements improvements through new raw material blends and the use of state-of-the-art extrusion lines (e.g., five-layer systems) to expand the product range. Production volume fell in the reporting year from 35,000 tons to 32,000 tons, which affected business performance.
